1. Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility

By accessing or using this website (the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

The Service is intended for individuals who are at least 16 years of age. If you are between 16 and 17 years old (inclusive), you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or guardian and you allow a minor to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and accept responsibility for the minor’s activity.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

CelticBrief provides educational content focused on jewellery styling, accessory coordination, beginner-friendly craftsmanship literacy, bridal and occasion accessory guidance, and care and maintenance education. The Service may include articles, guides, checklists, workshop descriptions, and the ability to submit enquiries regarding workshops.

The Service is educational in nature. Content may describe tools, materials, and techniques, but it does not replace professional assessment by a qualified jeweller, repair professional, or specialist. You are responsible for selecting appropriate materials, tools, and safety practices for any hands-on activity you choose to undertake.

The availability, format, and scope of content may change over time as we update the Service. We may add, remove, or modify learning resources to keep them clear and relevant.

3. User Obligations

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the website or interfere with any other party’s use of the Service.

If the Service offers workshop enquiry forms or similar contact mechanisms, you agree to provide accurate information and not to submit misleading or deceptive content. You also agree not to include sensitive personal data in your message, and not to submit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

Where the Service provides an account feature in the future, you agree to maintain one account per person and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

4. Prohibited Activities

You must not, and must not attempt to:

  • Access the Service using automated means (including bots, scrapers, or spiders) without our prior written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, accounts, or systems connected to the Service.
  • Engage in fraud, spamming, phishing, or deceptive communications via forms or any interactive area of the Service.
  • Use the Service to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person or entity.
  • Use the Service to distribute illegal content or content that violates applicable laws or regulations.

We may investigate suspected violations and may take appropriate action, including restricting access to the Service, to protect users and the integrity of the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its text, educational materials, design, graphics, logos, icons, and site code, is owned by CelticBrief Education Studio Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This licence does not permit you to copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service without our prior written permission.

Any trademarks, service marks, and logos displayed on the Service are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them without permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any educational content, nor do we guarantee that applying information from the Service will produce a particular outcome.

Jewellery materials and finishes vary by maker, batch, and use conditions. Care and cleaning practices must be chosen with caution. You are responsible for testing and applying guidance appropriately for your items and circumstances.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CelticBrief Education Studio Ltd., its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount paid by you to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is lower.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CelticBrief Education Studio Ltd., and its directors, employees, and contractors, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

The Service may reference third-party tools, techniques, or brands in an educational context. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services. If you choose to follow third-party resources, you do so at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy practices.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy page, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. The Privacy page explains how we handle personal data, cookie categories, advertising technologies, and your rights.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to the Dispute Resolution section below, the courts of Dublin, Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the matter informally. The informal resolution period is thirty (30) days from the date we receive your written notice describing the issue and your requested resolution.

If we cannot resolve the dispute within the informal resolution period, either party may initiate proceedings in the courts specified in the Governing Law and Jurisdiction section, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited activities, or posed a security risk to the Service or its users.

The following sections will survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Jurisdiction, Dispute Resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

14. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, or operational needs.
